Aliya Nurmuhamedkyzy Moldagulova (1925–1944) was a legendary Kazakh sniper and Hero of who demonstrated extraordinary bravery during the Great Patriotic War.
Despite her young age when the war began, she volunteered for the front lines. After graduating from the Central Women's Sniper Training School, she fought fiercely as part of the 54th Rifle Brigade on the 2nd Baltic Front. Aliya distinguished herself through her pinpoint marksmanship, iron resolve, and combat mastery.
In January 1944, during a fierce battle near Novosokolniki in the Pskov region, she fell heroically in combat. Her name and legacy remain an immortal symbol of patriotism and courage.
