Description
Abai TV was launched in 2020 by order of the Head of State to showcase the rich heritage of the great poet Abai Qunanbaiuly alongside Kazakh and global cultural achievements. This cultural and educational television channel is named after the legendary poet and spiritual pillar of the nation.
Operating under the slogan "Mirror of Wisdom," Abai TV offers viewers a rich variety of national and world art, literary and historical masterpieces, theater productions, and ballet. It broadcasts 17 hours a day (07:00–00:00) with an 80% Kazakh and 20% Russian language split.
