Description
Balapan TV, launched on September 27, 2010, as part of the Qazaqstan RTRK Corporation, is Kazakhstan's first and largest dedicated children's television channel. Tailored for viewers under the age of 8, it broadcasts exclusively in the Kazakh language daily from 07:00 to 22:00. The channel's broadcast footprint expanded internationally into Kyrgyzstan in 2022 and Mongolia in 2024.
Balapan TV maintains a massive digital presence with nearly 2.5 million subscribers and over 1.1 billion total views on YouTube, earning the YouTube Silver (2017) and Gold (2021) Creator Awards. It won the prestigious national "Tumar" Television Award in 2017 and 2023 for flagship shows like Kulegesh and Doctor Dana, was recognized in the "National Favorite" awards in 2024, and received an Official Letter of Appreciation from the President of Kazakhstan in 2025 for its contribution to children's media.
